The show is a strong visual buddy comedy with goofy, infectious humor for 6- to 10-year-olds. It’s about two loveably imperfect friends who escape from an animal laboratory to live in a tree stump in Woodchuck Wood, deep in the heart of Central Park. Bionic Max is a bionic guinea pig and his pal, JC, is a goldfish who wears a fishbowl like a pair of shorts.
